I'm off to Pakistan

Hi Everyone,

This is my first blog ever. I'm a little bit nervous about it, but I really want to do it. I'm hoping to share with my American friends and family what it's really like to be travelling to and living in Pakistan. I'll be there from July 28th to January 7th. I'll post frequently about everything, including stuff that would seem so irrelevant to a Pakistani. I'll write about what I ate, about Ramadan and Eid, about shopping and even the show you pictures of the street I grew up on. I won't leave out the negative and certainly not the positive either.

A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, married a white boy and have two kids with him. And for the fun of it, I decorate cakes. 

I'll post again soon. Please share with your friends and family and hopefully they'll learn about life in Pakistan like you will.
