I'm here and jet-lagged

It's been 4 days (I think) since I've gotten here. It has been a daze. We're jet lagged, but happy. Today we woke up at 12pm, which has been an improvement by 2 hours.
I had a tough flight, even though both Ariana and Mikael were pleasant. The air hostesses were horrible, the worst I have ever seen. They flat out refused to help when I asked for it. So be sure never to fly Turkish Airlines.

As soon as I walked into the Karachi Airport, I called for a porter. My favorite thing about landing here is not having to carry my carry-on's. I gave my porter the luggage tags and he took care of the luggage too. It was 4:30 am and  we were received by my mother, uncle, Zaina (cousin), my driver and Munir (the boy who does everything everyone else doesn't do). When we got home my grandparents were waiting for me.

McD's in the background

My mom's friend sent us mangoes.  This variety is called
Anwar Atol, the sweetest of all mangoes.
Mikael has taken a  liking to the maid (on the left)
We went straight to feed the goat. Believe it or not, it wasn't that easy to  find one ... but I insisted we have one for Mikael who's been drinking goat milk back in the USA too. We're renting it for Rupees 100 a day (approx $1).

Poor little jet-lagged Miku
Gondi berries...  (Goji Berries in english... a more appropriate translation should be Glue Berries... the're leave a gluey coating in your mouth after eating them and Gond means glue in Urdu). My mom used to eat these as a kid. The driver brought them home... my mom hadn't seen them in ages, she was very excited.

I think I'm leaning towards a picture blog... I feel like showing is better than talking about it. Leave me comments, tell me what you think.
